The design reimagines the classic bench, blurring the boundaries between humans and nature. It encourages users to connect with trees, fostering a deeper relationship with the environment. Made of waterproof plywood modules connected by rubber joints, the seat adapts to any tree trunk shape, minimizing material waste. Adjustable width and free water flow between modules enhance functionality. Attached with textile straps and rubber padding, it preserves tree integrity. With the tree trunk as a backrest, the design harmonizes with nature, offering simple comfort. Tested in a Warsaw park, it attracted both children and adults, serving as a climbing structure and a shady resting spot. This innovative approach promotes a shift in attitudes toward nature, strengthening the bond between humans and the natural world.
